Fieldwork Week #9

For this week’s movement back we were instructed to research images or video of relationships and weight sharing in cultural context. I decided to base my fieldwork score on the women’s suffrage movement. You will see in my notes below that I noticed that the women in the marches walked in columns and rows and rarely ever made physical contact. However, I also watched videos and noticed the heavy clothing and accessories that the women all balanced on top of thin heels - this distribution weight really interested me and it was a part of my movement bank (which you can see in my next post).
