Fieldwork Week #5

This week we were instructed to go to Thompson Library and listen to some music or soundscapes that we may be considering to use for our final project. (In the picture of my notes below I shared what songs I listened to). While listening to our music, we were instructed to observe how groups enter and exit the space. My notes on these observations are below. I noticed a common theme of spatial negotiation. By this I mean there was often a silent agreement about who was going to take charge and create a different formation for a group to get through a smaller space. I also noticed that groups usually formed a straight line when getting to tight spaces. I noticed a few other things as well that I included in my notes as well as some sketches.
