Throughout all four of my high school years, I was a part of the Varsity Magnificat High School Dance Team. I loved everything about it, my coach, my teammates, performing, rehearsing, and competing. I knew that I wanted to be a part of something similar when I came to The Ohio State University, so I tried out for The Ohio State University Club Dance Team. So far this season the club dance team has performed at the 2016 Homecoming Parade, the Stylez Dance Competition, and has held a "Buckeye Dance Clinic" in Sandusky, Ohio. This team has given me various opportunities to grow as a dancer. For example, I had the opportunity of choreographing a combination for a practice in November. My combination was then chosen to be taught at the Buckeye Dance Clinic in Sandusky. I am looking forward to the rest of the season and coming back from winter break to work on our nationals piece!
